Out and About

Today's a little less dressy, a little more casual. As much as I love bright colors, you can never go wrong with browns and tans!...well you can...but. Shh. Hush now and enjoy!























I totally love the boho feel of these boots, my boyfriend digs em too! I'm not one for Uggs, cause I thing Uggs are Uuuuggglllyyyy. But the fringe on these are too cute to resist. They're a mix of sculpty and flexi, so it has the perfect movement!
Beware, if you're a shorty that normally wears heels--you'll be your normal avatar height in these. They have many color options, but I prefer the soft tan ones.









This is one of my favorite tops. I LOVE Berries Inc.
But beware, you *might* wanna wear pasties under it. The system-shirt stops right under the boobies, and the sculpty up top covers em.

So if the sculpty rezzes in slow, or some clever perv with the cam skills, will be able to see your chi-chis!

Lingerie in the Sky

So, I don't wear this fancy stuff often. But when I wear the sexy nighties, it's usually something I totally fall in love with.

Today's sexy lingerie comes from TART!





This set is called Anna. You can only buy(what I figure) the full color sets from the store, but on Marketplace you can get the singles or discounted!







This is also a bed(sorry I forgot to grab the full image) that's from What Next. It's super cute, and has single poses(the single pillows), and couple poses(the blue pillows). It's a PG bed, so nothin' naughty. But this set comes with a lamp, side table, and a wall poem(not pictured here).

Frumpy Mess

Today, I feel a little less on the *pretty* side of things. See? My love for chiffon and pastel colors didn't last very long at all.


Today is one of them frumpy, trashy kinda days, when your guy ain't around and you don't really feel like getting all dolled up.

I run the Firestorm Beta--which I am SO happy about. Cause that means I can have like. Mix and match makeups! Instead of having to just choose one, I can truely create my own, unique makeup style.
Which for me in real life, transferred to SL--heavy eyeliner, and very...very glossy lips!
Granted my avatar wears it so much better than I do.

I'm also not a fan of alpha-hair. I like me some sculpties. But there are some hairs from Fab-U-Lous that I am totally in love with.

For the longest time also, I was eyeballing this pretty butterfly ring, that look so much cooler in world. It's got black gems around the fingers, and butterflies floating up the hand.

Also, seperate, I love me some retro stuff. So I couldn't resist the colorful little keyboard.
Not pictured here is a ringpop I also got that I forgot to put on. I totally knew I was missing something...

Summer Lovin'

Once again, just to repeat, I'm really into the fluffy, pastely colors this week...okay, the past few days. I REALLY don't know how long it's gonna last.

But still..it's so cute.

Also, this avatar is relitively new, a little over two years. However, I've been in SL since '07, an I remember ElikaTira designs. it was the go-to hair place other than Deviant Kitties. And I had MAJOR disappoint when they closed down. I even still have some REALLY OLD ETD hair.

Let me tell you. I am SO happy she's back with a new line, and better than ever. In 'o7, the hair was quality. Great textures, great styles. PERFECT. The style changed, as things do. But the quality hasn't dropped at all. Elika hasn't disappointed me!

and mind you, they are the ONLY hair store I've seen that does that. They have an essentials pack. so instead of having four different types of black(seriously. Black is black, stop fucking around with it), you get a pack that has two browns, two reds, two blones, black, and white! And the doubles comes in a brighter, and darker shade. It's *PERFECT*. I hope other hair designers catch on.

Country Fried Cuteness

I'm really into soft, pastel colors and frilly things this summer. Sn@tch says it's beige, /I/ call it "champagne". But whatevs, I LOVE the colors. I also LOVE that LeLutka hair--I almost can never pull it off. But it works. This look has a totally cute sort of southern belle thing going on.

It's been a struggle with myself to change the dress. Eek. Either way, it's cute. The dress is from Sn@tch, and for 250L you get a bunch of different colors of this dress. That's a deal that just CAN'T be beat. Also, you will see these shoes often. I love them. So. So much.



Also, a bit more on the shoes. They're Kookie's first hud-run shoes, so it's a little confusing at first, but you'll get the hang of it. Unfortunately, I haven't managed to get the resizer to work...

Couture Rant

Alrighty ladies and gents...mostly ladies. Here's my beef for the week.
Couture.
I don't like it. The idea of some couture outfits are cute, some clever, but mostly the textures and patterns are too jerky, and don't soothe my aesthetic. I DON'T like couture.

This brings me to my next point. I kept seeing Mimikri stuff on marketplace, so I went in world. Which I'm glad. It's couture, but nothing over the top, suitable for every day wear. It wasn't my style, and as much as I liked the designs, the textures just were a miss for me.

This dress is from Mimikri, and was probably the only thing there that I could see myself wearing. So, why the hell not. Right? It's cute, but the put-together didn't feel right. The piece on the torso is connected to the skirt, like a tube. The dress isn't mod, and it's resize scripted. You can't position the individual prims, and I don't like relying on a script to position prim by prim.

Also, if you're hippy(wide in the hips, not like "peace, mannn") like I am, you will stick out of it. The top piece doesn't flatten down, so you may have a bit of the sculpt stick out at the top. I'd enjoy this dress a lot more if I could mod the prims myself.

Either way, there's some over-the-top couture stuff, and things that are a little more tame for every-day wear. Just because it's not my style, doesn't mean it can't be yours. Also...
