Pop My Cherry










So last night my twinners was taking pictures, and she told me something girly. This outfit was a total accident, admittedly. But I freaking love it. <3 <3














This picture was caught in mid-dance ontop of my store. ;D




















A while back I went on a shopping spree, and I found these shoes. And dumb me, I thought I'd only need the black ones. So over time, I've bought the black, silver, pink, and today--the red. If you can afford it, I highly suggest the fatpack. Because these are my favorite shoes in SL, and they go with ANY outfit. <3






















Also, I have to say that I am in love with this makeup combo. I'm usually one for thinner brows, and this skin has bolder ones. But I really like the striking face that it has. The skin itself is a really cute little asian skin. The eyeliner and lipstick are tattoo layers.

It's called Boho, I think...








I'm not a fashionista by far. I just like looking snazzy.









So I dunno if this is boho, or hippie, or whatever the hell it is. I just know it's freakin' cute.


Plus, I wanted another reason to wear that hair and feathers.





















I have this cute little find, too. You know the toothy skins and tattoos? Well...yeah they're cute. But if you get that pesky angle, you can actually see your teeth are painted on your lip!





SLink, one of the greatest prim-feet companies in SL have made real teeth. basically, it's got that cool Alpha thing going on, but you have prims to cover that weird edge an alpha gives you, as well as a sculpted mouth to look right!



It's all one piece, and comes with several variations of lip positioning and tinting. So you can match it to any color lipstick, or shape of mouth!!

Hair, hair, and more hair!

Please note my smashing look down hurr. No hair, no clothes(except pasties and my tattoo), no prims, and NO AO. Please have consideration if you go to the Hair Fair. It's extremely laggy, and the more you have on, the harder it is for people around you.
It's that time of year again! HAIR FAIR!!!!!! Some people love skins, some loves shoes, some love clothes, I, am COMPLETELY obsessed with hair. Ridiculously so. It's rare that there's a hairstore I haven't heard of. And I keep up with all the main styles.

So, naturally--hair fair is the place to find me!

Last year I was slightly disappointed with the hair fair; there wern't too many things that I liked. Nothing seemed to have that wild freshness that Hair Fair is known for.
This year was a completely different story.









First up, we have a store that I hadn't seen before. It's called Pr!tty

There's a unique style, and has a soft, shiny texture in the hair. The blondes are to die for!


This style is called Local Native, and comes with optional headband and feathers.

Unfortunately, as I took this picture, I was a total dumbass, and I wore the bottom to another hair. So the hair overmy shoulder on the left side of this picture is from another hair(Which you should totally buy also.)












This one is called Indie. And it's totally cute, and it's little point of detail is a braid that goes across the top of the head. It has two attatchment points, so never fear! No hair clipping here!












This is my other favorite. It's called Athena. It's a pinned-back-pony-tail of sorts, and drapes over the second shoulder with the attatchment points. It's graceful from the front, but it has that edgy appeal in the back.



The shirt I'm wearing(there's also a skirt), is the Hair Fair gift from Pr!tty, and matches all their hairs gorgeously!

Another favorite of mine is from Wasabi Pills. I'm usually a blonde, so finding nice blonde textures is AWESOME. And Wasabi Pills has the cutest one eeeeevar!


This style is called Trish. It comes with the two piggy tail options or...











...just one! The bow's color change too, so you can match it to any of your outfits. It's perfect for kids, lolita style, or just lookin' plain friggen ADORABLE! <3

This is however. My number-one favorite find oh Hair Fair this year. This number is called Lindsey, and it's from vive9, but I call it my Sheri Moon Zombie hair. Cause for some reason it reminds me of her.

The roots at that perfect rocker-girl look to it!











It doesn't have a secondary attatchment point, but it moves really nicely and doesn't clip too badly at all!


The back is a loose knot held in place, with messy tendrils flowing down the back.


I keep looking for reasons to wear this one. It's my ultimate fave. <3

When at hairfair, I try to look around. Cause you never know what cute things you'll stumble upon. This one totally wasn't on my shopping list--but I HAD to have it. I didn't even bother to demo it. But I'm glad I grabbed it!


This cute, short blonde style is from Sugarsmack, and has that neat, smooth cut--but also is edgy enough for girls that walk on the darkside.






This blue flower is the Hair Fair gift from Sugarsmack. You get 4 different colors, and it's cute too. I'm not one for hair flowers, but this one accents this 'do nicely!

LeLutka hair is a bit hit or miss with me. I may love the style, but the style won't quite love me back.


But lately, I've learned how to master the look of LeLutka hair, and how I can pull it off! Yay!


This little style is called Pinned, and is a Hair Fair gift! You get the fatpack in all colors. And tell me that style wouldn't be perfect for your cutesy little summer dresses!






This is where I made a mistake. The demo of this hair was in AlmostGoth, and that's the color I should have bought. The blonde doesn't do this style too much justice. You can see more detail on the hairbase with a darker hair, because my skin is so pale. But the hairbase has cute little pieces that are all flowy and stuff.


This is a very trendy style that any designer or fashionista should have then they're on a creating spree. It has pieces of string and fabric in it, and is another one of my favorites on this find. <3

I don't even think i need to mention HOW FREAKING CUTE THIS ILLUSORY HAIR IS.


How I define the style, Kimmi.

The messy little fluffs.

These hairs were 300L a pop--normally over my hair budget (275, MAX.) but I HAD to have it in my trademark blonde, and I bought the black one SIMPLY because it was too cute with the pink streak!









There's also another little style I picked up from Illusory called Ayumi. It's somehow a little calmer, a little more tame than it's cousin Kimmi. But I love this one too, and the streak just falls absolutely perfect.

Exile, much like LeLutka, is another hit-or-miss kinda store with me. I love their styles, but again--they don't always love me.


But I saw this style, Aroha, and the little pisces inside me HAD TO HAVE IT. I seriously RAGEFACED when I saw this, because I couldn't TP in fast enough.


This style is absolutely cute, and again--doesn't have a secondary attatchment points (PLEASE EXILE. START THE SECONDARY POINT! DDDD: ) but stis voluminus enough, and pushed foward enough that it doesn't clip that badly. And I'm a constant AO fidgeter. The side has seashells, and starfish in it. And is perfect for any beach goer, or mermaid!

It's very regal, and has that princessy kinda look. I think this would be a perfect fantasy add on for any elfy or something!









This is what the back looks like. I wish it were out a little bit more, because I lose some of the details in my shoulders. And I'm a small girl.

I don't normally buy Clawtooth hair, because I honestly don't feel trendy enough to wear it. But I had to, had to, HAD TO have this one. Two attatchment points. Super long, cute texture. AND FLUFFYYYY.


This is called
Pretty Words. I love it, and it's totally gorgeous, and any long-hair lover needs to go buy this. NOW.


Plus, it's totally awesome for walking around shirtles and having the boobies covered!




The sweethearts at Clawtooth even offered a free gift! Another hair flower.


And you know, I'm not much for the color purple. But for some reason, this just adds that special pizzaz to this hair. <3

Out and About

Today's a little less dressy, a little more casual. As much as I love bright colors, you can never go wrong with browns and tans!...well you can...but. Shh. Hush now and enjoy!























I totally love the boho feel of these boots, my boyfriend digs em too! I'm not one for Uggs, cause I thing Uggs are Uuuuggglllyyyy. But the fringe on these are too cute to resist. They're a mix of sculpty and flexi, so it has the perfect movement!
Beware, if you're a shorty that normally wears heels--you'll be your normal avatar height in these. They have many color options, but I prefer the soft tan ones.









This is one of my favorite tops. I LOVE Berries Inc.
But beware, you *might* wanna wear pasties under it. The system-shirt stops right under the boobies, and the sculpty up top covers em.

So if the sculpty rezzes in slow, or some clever perv with the cam skills, will be able to see your chi-chis!

Lingerie in the Sky

So, I don't wear this fancy stuff often. But when I wear the sexy nighties, it's usually something I totally fall in love with.

Today's sexy lingerie comes from TART!

This is also a bed(sorry I forgot to grab the full image) that's from What Next. It's super cute, and has single poses(the single pillows), and couple poses(the blue pillows). Frumpy Mess














Today, I feel a little less on the *pretty* side of things. See? My love for chiffon and pastel colors didn't last very long at all.


Today is one of them frumpy, trashy kinda days, when your guy ain't around and you don't really feel like getting all dolled up.







I run the Firestorm Beta--which I am SO happy about. Cause that means I can have like. Mix and match makeups! Instead of having to just choose one, I can truely create my own, unique makeup style.
Which for me in real life, transferred to SL--heavy eyeliner, and very...very glossy lips!
Granted my avatar wears it so much better than I do.






I'm also not a fan of alpha-hair. I like me some sculpties. But there are some hairs from Fab-U-Lous that I am totally in love with.




For the longest time also, I was eyeballing this pretty butterfly ring, that look so much cooler in world. It's got black gems around the fingers, and butterflies floating up the hand.

Also, seperate, I love me some retro stuff. So I couldn't resist the colorful little keyboard.

Summer Lovin'






Once again, just to repeat, I'm really into the fluffy, pastely colors this week...okay, the past few days. I REALLY don't know how long it's gonna last.

But still..it's so cute.

















Also, this avatar is relitively new, a little over two years. However, I've been in SL since '07, an I remember ElikaTira designs. it was the go-to hair place other than Deviant Kitties. And I had MAJOR disappoint when they closed down. I even still have some REALLY OLD ETD hair.

Let me tell you. I am SO happy she's back with a new line, and better than ever. In 'o7, the hair was quality. Great textures, great styles. PERFECT. The style changed, as things do. But the quality hasn't dropped at all. Elika hasn't disappointed me!

and mind you, they are the ONLY hair store I've seen that does that. They have an essentials pack. so instead of having four different types of black(seriously. Black is black, stop fucking around with it), you get a pack that has two browns, two reds, two blones, black, and white! And the doubles comes in a brighter, and darker shade. It's *PERFECT*. I hope other hair designers catch on.

Country Fried Cuteness

I'm really into soft, pastel colors and frilly things this summer. Sn@tch says it's beige, /I/ call it "champagne". But whatevs, I LOVE the colors. I also LOVE that LeLutka hair--I almost can never pull it off. But it works. This look has a totally cute sort of southern belle thing going on.

It's been a struggle with myself to change the dress. Eek. Either way, it's cute. The dress is from Sn@tch, and for 250L you get a bunch of different colors of this dress. That's a deal that just CAN'T be beat. Also, you will see these shoes often. I love them. So. So much.



Also, a bit more on the shoes. They're Kookie's first hud-run shoes, so it's a little confusing at first, but you'll get the hang of it. Unfortunately, I haven't managed to get the resizer to work...

Couture Rant








Alrighty ladies and gents...mostly ladies. Here's my beef for the week.
Couture.
I don't like it. The idea of some couture outfits are cute, some clever, but mostly the textures and patterns are too jerky, and don't soothe my aesthetic. I DON'T like couture.

This brings me to my next point. I kept seeing Mimikri stuff on marketplace, so I went in world. Which I'm glad. It's couture, but nothing over the top, suitable for every day wear. It wasn't my style, and as much as I liked the designs, the textures just were a miss for me.

This dress is from Mimikri, and was probably the only thing there that I could see myself wearing. So, why the hell not. Right? It's cute, but the put-together didn't feel right. The piece on the torso is connected to the skirt, like a tube. The dress isn't mod, and it's resize scripted. You can't position the individual prims, and I don't like relying on a script to position prim by prim.

Also, if you're hippy(wide in the hips, not like "peace, mannn") like I am, you will stick out of it. The top piece doesn't flatten down, so you may have a bit of the sculpt stick out at the top. I'd enjoy this dress a lot more if I could mod the prims myself.

Either way, there's some over-the-top couture stuff, and things that are a little more tame for every-day wear. Just because it's not my style, doesn't mean it can't be yours. Also...

I'd Rather Be Blind....Blind Mag!







So, I'm a sucker for Rock-Operas. Especially ones with a more gothy tone. Thanks to my friends down at Species, they told me about this musical called Repo! The Genetic Opera. And it was FREAKING AMAZING. My favorite character was Blind Mag, played by Sarah Brightman.
Beautiful, tragic, and talented.
